ALT TEXT: In accordance with European accessibility regulations and the guidelines followed by the publisher, it is necessary to include Alt Text (alternative text) for all visual elements in each paper, especially figures, illustrations, and images. Alt Text is a brief textual description of the content of an image. Its purpose is to make the publication more accessible, particularly for people who use screen readers or who cannot view the images properly. It also improves the reading experience across other formats and helps ensure compliance with the publisher’s accessibility standards.
For this reason, each author must prepare and submit an Excel file including the Alt Text for all figures, illustrations, and images in their paper, together with the rest of the required final submission documents.
